I’m surprised that I’ve read so many of these already. I must have a proclivity for flowers! The Secret Garden was my absolute favorite book as a girl. I thought it would be nice to read it with my daughter. I kind of forgot that Mary’s parents die in the beginning. My daughter was so shocked that Mary didn’t even care her parents died that she refused to keep reading! Oh well.
