Reading Habits:
When I was a teenager, I devoured any books by V.C. Andrews. My parents would always catch me reading in my free time while in my bottom bunk bed, practically hiding under the covers. I became really busy in high school, so I stopped reading for fun as much. In college, I was an English major and a psychology/American Indian Studies minor, so I was reading constantly, but hardly anything for pleasure – except the Twilight series with my freshman roommate. Once college was over, I got back into pleasure reading. Then a few years ago, I discovered BookTok, and my physical TBR is so long, I plan to come back as a ghost, haunt my own library, and finally finish reading it all. 🙂 I now share my passion for reading with my students as often as I can, even if it takes all year to get them to “lock in” to reading themselves.
