TBR Mix n’ Mingle – October

Welcome back to another edition of TBR Mix n’ Mingle. Every month, we share our most anticipated reads of the month and invite you to do the same! In addition to all of the books we plan on reviewing on the blog this month, we’ve got some stellar reading to look forward to!

Here’s what Caleigh is planning on reading this month!

   So this one is a bit cheating but I JUST got it from the library. I finally got a copy of I’ll Be Gone in the Dark by Michelle McNamara. Not knowing a lot about this very famous Golden State Killer case, I’m really looking forward to it.

I am VERY hopeful that this month, the audiobook copy of Whiskey in a Teacup, by Reese Witherspoon, will be released. If you’re thinking about it, I definitely advise getting on your local library’s waiting list ASAP – as of writing, mine has 226 holds on the hard copy version already!

   Honorable mention to Fruit of the Drunken Tree AND Bridge of Clay, which I mentioned last month… and then didn’t read either of them. But here’s the thing about TBR goals. It’s ok to fail, because all it means is that some really awesome books are waiting for you to pick them up! I also finished my Goodreads goal for the year, which was one book a week (52). So I feel ok about not “succeeding” for September… and you should too!
